Stripper condenser tube-to-tubesheet welding for the urea process.

Tube to tubesheet welding of high pressure heat exchangers, used in plants producing urea (stripper condenser) has to be carried out with care in order to obtain a high quality result, meeting the requirements of the relevant technical specifications. Used to produce plastics and other manufacturing materials, the urea process involves creation of an organic compound of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen, with the formula CON₂H₄ or (NH₂)₂CO.      
In such critical tube-to-tubesheet welding, it is vital to observe and record the main rules and values necessary to achieve high quality welds while maintaining a high productivity. >> more
