For high quality welding Tube end preparation is an essential stage before any automated welding process. The cutting procedures and weld end preparation techniques must aim to obtain a smooth surface to avoid contaminant traps. This enables to get high-quality weld joint. To achieve optimum repetitive welds, the weld end preparations must be:
- flat,
- square to the run of the tube,
- cut or bevelled with a predefined constant angle,
- burr-free or with a minimum burr that is consistent and uniform to allow consumption by the welding procedure.
Polysoude provides equipment and accessories which are adapted to orbital and mechanised welding.
