In 2013, Polysoude provided the Italian company Simic with a robotic welding installation for the production of radial plates for the ITER project.
The video below gives an overview of one part of this enormous project. It shows Polysoude’s equipment combining a narrow gap welding torch with AVC (Arc Voltage Control), a camera system as well as a video container and the PC 600-3 HW power source. All of this was delivered as a turnkey solution with a robot equipped with a laser tracking system.
