Polysoude is always pleased to regularly meet students and help them in choosing their careers in the welding industry. It is indeed a company role to help them to discover the profession and its amazing opportunities.
Last Wednesday, early December, was another occasion for these rich exchanges as 10 students from a local technical university accompanied by their supervisors visited Polysoude at our Headquarters in Nantes.
Being in their final year of studies in Industrial Welding Technologies at the Institute of Technology in Nantes, the students were able to discover the specificities of the welding engineer's position and the applications of orbital welding during one complete afternoon.
The day included a presentation of Polysoude and its activities by Béranger Errien (IWE), head of the Applications Department, followed by a focus on the different welding applications covered at Polysoude. Guillaume Jouen, our welding specialist in charge of the demonstrations, carried out several welds in the showroom using various Polysoude TIG welding solutions, like our closed and open chamber MW and MU IV welding heads.
We wish all students all the best for the next steps of their way and their future careers, maybe why not at Polysoude?
It was a fruitful day for all students but also for our team members for whom it is always a pleasure to present our passion and expertise to welders in training.
This visit is part of an ongoing process initiated by Polysoude, of contact and awareness with the new generations of welder apprentices. We wish to give them the desire to learn, improve and why not join us to bring their contribution to the Polysoude universe.
